1. About My Services
I run Dark Harbor Engraving LLC as a one‑person shop. Everything here is custom work — engraving, fabrication, and other projects you ask me to create. Because of that, every job is a little different, and these terms help keep things clear and fair for both of us.
2. Quotes & Pricing
Quotes are based on the details you provide. If the project changes, the price might change too. I’ll always let you know before moving forward.
3. Artwork & Files You Provide
If you send me artwork, photos, logos, or any other files, you’re confirming:
- You own the rights to use them
- You have permission to have them engraved
- You’re not asking me to engrave anything illegal or copyrighted without permission
I’m not responsible for legal issues that come from artwork you provide.
4. Materials You Provide
If you bring your own item for engraving:
- I’ll treat it with care
- But I can’t guarantee how certain materials will react to engraving
- You accept the risk of damage, imperfections, or unexpected results
Some materials just don’t behave the way people expect — lasers are precise, but physics is physics.
5. Custom Work Is Final
Because everything I make is custom:
- All sales are final
- No returns or refunds on completed work
- If there’s an issue caused by me, I’ll make it right
If the issue comes from unclear instructions, low‑quality artwork, or material limitations, that’s not on me.
6. Turnaround Times
I’ll give you an estimated turnaround time when you place your order. Delays can happen (material availability, complexity, etc.), but I’ll keep you updated.
7. Payments
Payment terms will be clearly stated on your invoice. Some projects may require a deposit before I start.
8. Website Use
Don’t misuse the site, try to break it, or scrape content. Just be a normal human being and we’re good.
